Vibors — Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction and Acceptance
Welcome to Vibors ("the Platform," "we," "us," or "our"). Vibors is a unified social ecosystem that connects real-world activity — including social publishing, location discovery, business transactions, and event participation — with a measurable digital influence framework.
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Vibors mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you") and Vibors. These Terms apply to all users of the App, including social users, business owners, event organizers, and any other persons who access or use the Platform.
Vibors is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Your use of the App through these platforms is also subject to the applicable terms of Apple Inc. and Google LLC respectively, including their in-app purchase rules.
2. Definitions
- Influence Score — A numerical score calculated in real time based on your verified activity across the Platform, including social interactions, location check-ins, QR-validated transactions, and event participation.
- QR Validation — The process of scanning a business- or event-generated QR code to verify a real-world transaction or attendance.
- Place / Business — A verified physical location or business registered on the Platform.
- Event — A scheduled real-world or hybrid experience created and discoverable on the Platform.
- VIP Subscription — A paid premium membership tier that unlocks advanced Map features, event creation, and score-based discovery.
- Rewards / Points — Points accumulated through verified transactions and campaigns, redeemable for offers within the Platform.
- Content — Any text, photos, videos, or other material published, shared, or uploaded by users on the Platform.
- Profile — A user's public identity on the Platform, including username, profile picture, Influence Score, and verification status.
3. Eligibility
3.1 Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years old or older. We do not knowingly collect data from or permit use by persons under 18.
3.2 Geographic Availability
The Platform is currently available in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Access from other territories may be restricted. We make no representations that the App is appropriate or available in other locations.
3.3 Legal Capacity
You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction. If you are using the Platform on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
4. Account Registration and Security
4.1 Account Creation
To access the full functionality of the Platform, you must register an account. You may register using:
- A mobile phone number (primary method) with SMS OTP verification
- An email address with email OTP verification
- Apple Sign-In, Google OAuth, or Facebook OAuth
4.2 Username
You are required to choose a unique username (3–20 characters; letters, numbers, and underscores only). Usernames are case-insensitive and globally unique on the Platform. You may change your username no more than once every 30 days. Vibors reserves the right to reclaim usernames that violate these Terms or impersonate others.
4.3 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at support@vibors.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized use of your account.
4.4 Account Deactivation and Deletion
- Deactivation: You may deactivate your account at any time. Deactivation is indefinitely reversible — your account is hidden but not deleted. You may reactivate at any time by signing in.
- Deletion: Requesting account deletion triggers a 30-day grace period. During this period, you may cancel the deletion by signing in. After 30 days without login, all your data is permanently and irreversibly deleted.
4.5 Profile Verification
The Platform offers optional verification tiers that enhance your Influence Score:
- Email + Mobile Verification: Required for Profile Level 2 access.
- Face Verification (Biometric): Optional; required for Profile Level 3. Face and ID images are used solely for the verification decision and are permanently deleted within 60 seconds of that decision. Only a pass/fail result is stored. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
5. User Content
5.1 Your Content
You may publish photos, videos, text, and other content ("User Content") on the Platform. By posting content, you grant Vibors a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, display, reproduce, distribute, and promote your content within the Platform and in connection with promoting Vibors.
5.2 Content Standards
You must not post content that:
- Is unlawful, harmful, threatening, defamatory, harassing, or abusive
- Infringes any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights
- Contains nudity, sexual content, or graphic violence
- Promotes or facilitates illegal activities, including fraud, drug use, or violence
- Constitutes spam, misleading information, or coordinated inauthentic behavior
- Exploits, endangers, or sexualizes minors in any form
- Is hateful based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
5.3 Content Removal
Vibors reserves the right, but not the obligation, to review, remove, or restrict access to any User Content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines. We operate a content moderation pipeline with severity classifications (P0–P3) and may act without prior notice for serious violations.
5.4 Reporting
You may report content or user behavior that violates these Terms using the in-app reporting tools. We will review all reports in accordance with our moderation procedures.
5.5 Your Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the content you publish. Vibors is not responsible for User Content and does not endorse any user's views or materials.
6. Influence Score
6.1 How It Works
Your Influence Score is calculated in real time based on weighted inputs including social interactions (likes, comments, shares, saves), location check-ins, QR-validated transactions, event attendance, and profile verification status.
6.2 Nature of the Score
The Influence Score is a platform metric only. It does not constitute a financial rating, creditworthiness measure, or any form of certification. Vibors makes no representations about the commercial value of any user's score.
6.3 Score Integrity
Attempting to artificially inflate your Influence Score through inauthentic activity — including fake check-ins, purchased engagement, coordinated activity, or exploitation of technical vulnerabilities — is strictly prohibited and may result in score adjustment, suspension, or permanent account termination.
6.4 Changes to the Algorithm
Vibors may update the Influence Score algorithm at any time. Changes may affect your score. We are not obligated to maintain any user's score at any particular level.
7. QR Transactions and Rewards
7.1 QR Validation
Vibors enables businesses and events to generate QR codes that users scan to validate real-world transactions and attendance. Each QR scan is server-side validated and linked to your account.
7.2 Points and Rewards
Verified transactions and campaign participation earn points redeemable for offers within the Platform. Points have no cash value and cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged outside the Platform.
7.3 Expiry and Modification
Points and rewards are subject to expiry and may be modified, reduced, or discontinued by Vibors at any time. We will provide reasonable notice where practicable.
7.4 Abuse
Fraudulent QR scanning, manipulation of transaction records, or other forms of rewards abuse are prohibited and may result in account suspension, points forfeiture, and legal action.
8. VIP Subscription
8.1 VIP Features
VIP is a paid user subscription (not earned through activity) that unlocks:
- Score-based Map filters for user discovery
- Event creation on the Map (public and private events)
- Advanced venue filters
8.2 Pricing
- VIP Monthly: SAR 29 / AED 29 per month
- VIP Annual: SAR 249 / AED 249 per year
Pricing is subject to change. You will be notified before any price change affects your subscription.
8.3 Billing
All payments are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Vibors does not store your payment card information. By purchasing a VIP subscription, you agree to the billing terms of the applicable store.
8.4 Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then. Refunds are subject to Apple App Store and Google Play Store refund policies. VIP is non-transferable and non-refundable after the first 24 hours, subject to applicable store policies.
8.5 Suspension
If your account is suspended or banned, you lose access to VIP features for the duration of the suspension. VIP subscription billing is not paused during this period.
9. Places, Businesses, and Events
9.1 Business and Place Profiles
Businesses and places may register verified profiles on the Platform. Business owners are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, offers, and campaign configurations.
9.2 Events
VIP users may create public or private events on the Map. Event hosts are responsible for the accuracy of event information and compliance with local laws governing public gatherings, venue permissions, and safety.
9.3 Third-Party Content
The Platform may display content, offers, or information from registered businesses. Vibors is not a party to any transaction between users and businesses and accepts no liability for the quality, legality, or accuracy of business-supplied content.
10. Location Data
10.1 Location Services
Certain features of the Platform — including map-based discovery, place check-ins, and social map pins — require access to your device's location. You may enable or disable location sharing at any time in your device settings or within the App's privacy settings.
10.2 Visible Location
If you enable Location Sharing, your approximate location may be visible to other users on the Map (including your score tier if viewed by VIP users). You can see how many users are viewing your pin but not their identities. Disabling location sharing removes your pin within 5 minutes.
11. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws
- Impersonate any person, organization, or entity
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent bans, restrictions, or score limits
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Platform
- Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure or security
- Harvest or collect user data without consent
- Use the Platform to send unsolicited communications (spam)
- Engage in any activity that damages Vibors's reputation or business interests
12. Intellectual Property
12.1 Vibors IP
All intellectual property in the Platform — including the name "Vibors," logos, design, algorithms, the Influence Score system, and all underlying software — is owned by or licensed to Vibors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our intellectual property for commercial purposes.
12.2 Your IP
You retain ownership of the content you post. The license you grant us (Section 5.1) ends when you delete your content or close your account, except where it has been shared by others and removal would require retroactive action.
13. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
13.1 "As Is" Basis
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
13.2 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Vibors and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or use, arising from your use of the Platform.
13.3 No Liability for Third Parties
Vibors is not responsible for the conduct of other users, businesses, or event organizers on the Platform. Any disputes between users or between users and businesses must be resolved directly between the parties.
14. Suspension and Termination
14.1 By You
You may stop using the Platform and delete your account at any time as described in Section 4.4.
14.2 By Vibors
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account, with or without notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or pose a risk to other users or to the Platform. Decisions on serious violations (P0 severity) may result in immediate permanent termination.
14.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution) will survive.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification or email. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any updated Terms constitutes your acceptance. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Platform and delete your account.
16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. For users in the UAE, applicable UAE federal laws also apply where required.
Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, unless otherwise required by applicable local law.
17. App Store Provisions
17.1 Apple App Store
If you download the App from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that:
- These Terms are between you and Vibors only — not Apple Inc.
- Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support for the App.
- In the event the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). Apple has no further warranty obligations.
- Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims you have relating to the App.
- Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
17.2 Google Play Store
If you download the App from the Google Play Store, you acknowledge that:
- These Terms are between you and Vibors only — not Google LLC.
- Google has no obligation or liability to you with respect to the App or these Terms.
